My paintings are large and abstract oils. The current series is inspired by a visit to Niagara Falls, for the colors and gestures. Because my space is modest I now work on tryptichs, to show the movement and scale better. Some paintings are active and chaotic, some are more still and patterned. I make wide, flexible brushes that can be as wide as the canvases, up to eight feet.

I studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design and at the Banff Center in Canada. I was born in Bogota, Colombia from Argentine and US parents. I have work in private and corporate collections, and have occasional exhibits. I moved studios from Fort Point to the South End about fifteen years ago. I have been an art teacher at Boston Collegiate Charter School for almost twenty years.
