Flatness versus three dimensionality runs through the otherwise disparate directions my work seems to have taken over the years. At present and for the last decade, I assemble beach objects onto prepared panels. These layouts are the models for oil paintings on canvas where the panels float in space containing fragments of possible meaning and order. Spring 2020 is 30X40" oil on canvas. Its subtitle is Church Window; Sunset; Wind.
